R&D – Approbation Engineer

Your Responsibilities

/ Mastering and interpreting approbation standards, particularly  IEC/EN/CSA/UL 60335-1 and IEC/EN/CSA/UL 60335-2-24?
to ensure that refrigerators meet approbation requirements. Contribute to develop a comprehensive approbation compliance strategy and policy for refrigerators, meeting the global and regional goals of BSH

/ Communication with approbation bodies (VDE, CSA, UL) and management of approbation process within projects (deadlines, tasks/measures, budgets, timelines) to meet general global and regional goals of BSH and the goals of the specific product development projects

/ Transform safety and approbation requirements into design specifications and test plans for components, systems/modules and appliances. Communicate and align the requirements with stakeholders

/ Working in and with internal and external labs for testing of appliances, parts and assemblies for safety and approbation 

Your Profile

/ Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering , Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or similar field of engineering/Professional experience in the development of electronics for large series is an advantage?

/ Ability to handle multiple projects with different scopes and requirements at the same time?

/ Hands on  laboratory experience?

/ Proven English is must?
