Full-time Educational Consultant, based in Istanbul, to provide support and training in our ELT products to customers throughout Marmara Region.

To maximize the awareness of CUP ELT/Education products in the region, and to work on the framework of Better Learning and INSPIRE principles.

 Principle Accountabilities

• Planning and delivering product training to KG, Primary and Secondary teachers in schools in Marmara Region.
•  Working with HODs and their teachers regularly about CUP products.
• Preparing and delivering a range of user seminars for CUP products.
•   Delivering presentations of the Cambridge University Press ELT list of products to customers and potential customers in schools.
• Providing orientation and support in the use of the materials to key customers, especially during the back-to-school period.
•  Travelling to conferences and visiting customers on a regular basis (subject to COVID-19 protocols compliance).
•  Providing market and product feedback and analysis to the ELT team in Turkey, and to other editorial colleagues as required, towards the ongoing development of products for use in Marmara Region.
•  Accurate recording of key customer information in the Salesforce customer relationship management system.
• Helping other educational consultants in the team with orientation, presentation, lesson plans etc., to support continuous improvements.

Context

a)  Operating Environment: Educational consultant is based in Istanbul.  The role will also require occasional travel outside Turkey for trainings, meetings and conferences in Cambridge and other locations in Turkey.

b) Framework & Boundaries :The role is carried out in accordance with ELT reporting requirements and policies, and within Sales Support Office guidelines. Company Ethics and Anti-bribery and Corruption policies must also be complied with at all times.

Relationships

·    Teachers/School Administration to maintain contact with teachers, school principals to gain/maintain adoptions and to ensure good relationships.

·    Regional agents to exchange and share market information in order to ensure that we keep up with the market conditions. 

·   Senior Regional Manager, Marketing, Educational Consultants and Research and PD colleagues.

Skills and Behaviours

•        Presentation Skills
•        Solid knowledge of ELT, Education
•        Good communication and negotiating skills
•        Experience and detailed knowledge of the market, school system, CUP products and   competitor products
•       Good planning and organizational skills.
