Döhler Turkey is looking for an "Sourcing Specialist" to be employed in our Balıkesir Plant with the following qualifications;

Your Role

·        Contributing to the development of the best possible supply strategy for the market and respective subdivision;

·        Leading and developing the subordinated team;

·        Contributing to the development of systematic cost saving, risk management, innovation, sustainable sourcing and stakeholder management strategies in order to ensure an optimum and sustainable supply;

·        Determining key technologies to develop the value chain to meet the future needs;

·        Planning material and financial resources;

·        Adhering to the approved budget and introducing suitable measures to counteract potential and actual deviations in consultation with the line manager;

·        Continuously standardising and optimising processes and organisational structures and initiating corresponding measures;

·        Creating cross functional teams to develop sources by executing the technology and innovation agenda;

·        Implementing and ensuring an optimum exchange of information within the division and with the interfaces;

·        Implementing and ensuring efficient and effective processes in the company's internal IT systems and their documentation;

·        Ensuring optimum supplier management, leading operating issues with global strategic suppliers;

·        Ensuring that information concerning relevant price trends and developments within the procurement markets is procured and evaluated;

·        Ensuring contractual negotiations and strategic sourcing agreements;

·        Ensuring that complaints are processed and examining complaint reporting;

·        Ensuring optimum market observation, as well as compiling and implementing procurement plans;

·        Formulating, implementing and ensuring the overall sourcing strategy for the subdivision in question, in consultation with the interfaces;

·        Contribution and realization of ideas for the digital transformation in the area of responsibility; Aligment and realization of digitization projects in cooperation with the stakeholders; Improvement of existing digital data;

·        Optimization and documentation of new and existing business processes in the digital data bases and systems.

Your Profile

·       Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering;

·        Min. 3-5 years of professional experience in purchasing, preferably in food segment;

·        Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP; 

·        Excellent verbal and written skills in English; 

·        Good team player, strong communication skills;

·        Willing to take initiative and responsibility.
