What part will you play?

As an operational sourcing specialist (m/f/d) at our branch in Istanbul, you will make a significant contribution to achieving our corporate goals in terms of quality, delivery reliability, innovation and costs for our headquarters (Austria):

• You will gather new, competitive local suppliers to improve procurement process
• You will negotiate in line with the project budgets and cost reduction activities with the technical aspects.
• You will gain supplier management skills through supporting quality and purchasing departments in daily work.
• You will keep the information on the current cards of the suppliers under responsibility up-to-date, update the approved price changes in the SAP information record.
• You will ensure close contact with potential / local suppliers
• You will be able to take Make or Buy decision responsibility during supplying stage within project needs.
• You will support actively in solving technical problems from suppliers and design.
• In the transportation of materials, when necessary, you will contact the relevant unit and carrying out the transportation,

Our Requirements

• Graduate in Business Administration, Industrial, Mechanical or Material Engineering, Int'l Trade, SCM, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics or relevant fields or at least 5 years experience in purchasing/sourcing.
• Proactive, communicative and team-oriented personality with the desire to actively participate in shaping future purchasing processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in at least English or German. (German is an asset)
• Good Computer Skills (MS Excel, SAP is a big plus)
• Not having a travel barrier
