About the role:

We are looking for an İstanbul based Tax Expert who will be directly reporting to Tax Manager. The responsibilities and the qualifications are mentioned below:

Who we are looking for:

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics or related disciplines
• Experience of 4-6 years in tax department in a multinational environment
• Tax audit experience is an asset
• Tax experience, Local accounting and Turkish uniform chart of account knowledge is a must
• Good command of verbal and written communication skills in English is a must
• SAP knowledge is an asset
• CPA is an asset
• Good level of MS Office applications
• Strong communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment
• Must be a team player with a positive and co-operative attitude
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and changing priorities and meet deadlines
• No restriction for travelling

Main Responsibilities:

• Preparation and submission of monthly/quarterly tax declarations 
• Preparation and submission of e-ledger
• Follow up export, import and investment incentive 
• Manage the general ledger and month-end closure process including making the proper postings required 
• Preparation of statutory BS and PL
• Manage transfer-pricing reporting
• Responsible from fixed asset accounting 
• Follow up of Investment Incentive Document process
• Perform ad hoc and special projects assignments, as required
• Develop close working relationships with the accounting teams of the group companies in order to ensure tax standards are followed
• Follow up the legislation and the recent and upcoming changes in the regulation in a timely and appropriate manner
• Follow the Group Tax policies and to perform regular reporting to the Group
• Follow up insurance Policy process
• Other ad-hoc responsibilities requested by the management
• Assist tax manager during external and internal tax audit issues
