We as Massive Bioinformatics, adopting the interdisciplinary way of working in different fields such as University, R&D, Health, Veterinary, Agriculture, Environment and Industry, produces specific solutions to their problems.

While combining the fields of computer science and biotechnology, we aim to provide high value-added products and services aimed at improving human health, science and technology. Therefore, we are looking for new friends to join our team.

Responsibilities

    • Build and administer computing, data storage, database system and networking infrastructure supporting services.

    • Monitor systems for normal operation, backups, security, and performance.

    • Maintain uptime and accessibility of infrastructure hardware and services.

    • Investigates network, server and storage hardware issues and coordinates resolution with vendor service providers, if necessary.

    • Responsible for the deployment and basic configuration of server and data storage and networking infrastructure in the implementation of new infrastructure projects.

    • Automates routine repeated tasks through scripting or other means.

Qualifications

    • University degree in related fields

    • Demonstrated experience of Linux system administration experience

    • Experienced with script languages especially with Bash and Python

    • Experienced with database systems: MySQL, PostgreSQL

    • Advanced experience in installing and developing software in a Linux environment

    • Demonstrated familiarity in managing job schedulers especially Slurm

    • Demonstrated understanding of cluster and distributed  file systems

    • Demonstrated understanding of networking and security

    • Advanced experience in participating in the acquisition of computing resources
