We are looking for a “Technical Office Cost Control Section Chief" for our heavy industry project taking place in Russia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Engineering
• Minimum 7 years of related experience
• Advanced level of English and/or Russian
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Primavera and Autocad Programs
• Analytical thinking capabilities
• Detail-oriented character without losing sight of the big picture
• Ability to work well under pressure in a faced paced work environment
• Being an effective team member

Job Description

• Preparing, updating and monitoring the Opening and Revised Budgets according to budget procedures,
• Determining unit man-hour amounts on the basis of the Budget Code,
• Establishing and regularly checking the necessary monitoring system for productivity analysis,
• Tracking and regularly reporting the efficiency of subcontractors and direct teams on a cost and schedule basis,
• Establishing and operating the infrastructure of the cost tracking systems necessary for achieving the profitability objective defined at the beginning of the project. (Such as providing budget codes correctly, making SAP entries, controlling casualties, etc.)
• Governing cost breakdown structure,
• Analyzing and reporting necessary information, reports, developments and emerged issues relevant to the defined duty and responsibilities and providing information about activities to other stakeholders,
• Generating periodical reports (monthly, three monthly, annual etc.) concerning the activities of the bound department,
• Tracking the records of incoming and outgoing material in coordination with the warehouse,
• Determining the number of casualties on the basis of materials and ensuring that necessary precautions are taken,
• Communication with client when required regarding cost control reporting,
• Preparing necessary reports according to senior management team’s needs,
• Monitoring progress payments,
