As a General Cashier, you will be responsible for overseeing the cashiers and ensuring the smooth operation of the cash register and related activities. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and providing excellent customer service.

General Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a cashier or in a similar role
• Strong mathematical skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of cash register and basic accounting procedures

Job Description

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of cashiers
• Ensure the accuracy of cash register balances and transactions
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
• Train new cashiers on proper cash handling procedures
• Prepare and maintain financial reports and records
• Monitor inventory levels and order change funds as needed
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service
• Assist in the development and implementation of new cash handling policies and procedures
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the cash register and related activities
• knowledge in Local uniform System of Account and taxation
• Sun System and Micros knowledge
• English communication skills
